AMRA WA in Perth have held their annual ModelRail competition for 2008, which features displays of the layouts and also a few of the club's demonstrators showing how they build, detail and work on their locos and layouts to the general public.
I've so far made a video for the photos, located here. Another video featuring the Haltwhistle OO scale British outline layout to follow very soon.
A few sample photos from the above video. Note that regions tend to blur a little (Haltwhistle featured GWR, LMS, LNER plus a few more modern acronyms) whilst the N scale layout featured stock from as far away as North America, Japan and the Midlands. :P We prefer just to run trains on the day and we bring our own favourite stock and locos for one big play. Great times all round.
