Stock in mainland Britain later today?

I'm on the Lymmy Branch driving 63 stock. I know the IOW stuff is way older but I don't think there is anything else on the mainland rail network.

Unless it's a heritage bubble car or something?

Notwork Fail surely? ;)

Probably, then. Apart from those steam trains which they always put away as they're generally on time and they don't want anyone to find out... :D

I know DRS 20's are probably older if you were to include locos

Nice to hear from you Kris! My son, 10, and I sometimes pop along from Ashurst New Forest (1/4 mile away) to Brockenhurst then down to the Pier and back just for the fun of it. Although one day we popped over to the Island and then back again..nice little cruise!

I spy a 444 with a broken wiper?

Are drivers not allowed to put them 'back on screen', because of insurance issues or whatever, I've never seen a driver get out - though it always happens on the second mans cab it seems - so perhaps the drivers do put it back?

I think it's more the fact that you don't really notice from the drivers seat.
