I'm on the Lymmy Branch driving 63 stock. I know the IOW stuff is way older but I don't think there is anything else on the mainland rail network.

Nice to hear from you Kris! My son, 10, and I sometimes pop along from Ashurst New Forest (1/4 mile away) to Brockenhurst then down to the Pier and back just for the fun of it. Although one day we popped over to the Island and then back again..nice little cruise!

Nice shot, I think a 450 has worked it 4 - 5 times now, it was 450036 when I went on it.

Are drivers not allowed to put them 'back on screen', because of insurance issues or whatever, I've never seen a driver get out - though it always happens on the second mans cab it seems - so perhaps the drivers do put it back?

May not be the oldest but it's certainly the fastest of the oldest - 90mph coming back from Brock through Hinton.
