Does the transport mode in the last posting abide by the above extract of the rules of this particular quiz? You may play stations on Light Railways, Heritage and other railways in England, Scotland and Wales.
But if you do play a station not on the National Rail or London Underground network, please include the name of the network that station is on. EG: "Buchanan Street (SPT Subway)" or "Aylsham (Bure Valley Railway)".
Wrong quiz? This is the Alphabet Stations Challenge, so we need a station beginning with "F" to follow on from Elsecar.Rannoch
I would not reject the possibility that a cableway of this kind counts as a railway—it is shown in full on maps of London’s rail transport, e.g. the TfL map and Carto Metro.Does the transport mode in the last posting abide by the above extract of the rules of this particular quiz?

I think the term "railway" is, on this quiz at least, something that uses rails upon which to travel along, as is the case in both light rail and heavy rail services. But hey-ho, that is only my personal opinion.I would not reject the possibility that a cableway of this kind counts as a railway—it is shown in full on maps of London’s rail transport, e.g. the TfL map and Carto Metro.

Fortunately, the UK doesn’t really have maglevs or monorails at any significant scale….yetI think the term "railway" is, on this quiz at least, something that uses rails upon which to travel along, as is the case in both light rail and heavy rail services.
