We’ve discussed this overnight, general consensus is that unless explicitly allowed in the rules of a particular quiz, then only English names are to be used please. That being said, we’re not voiding posts to go back to where we were!I can’t find anything in the rules on page one, The Next Station is Quiz is definitely English names only, maybe a PM to the Quizmasters is required.

Thanks for your clarification. However, the previous 2 entries (before I submitted Caerdydd) were both Welsh names (albeit Bryn is in England!). Given that many Welsh place names have no English equivalent (e.g. Abercynon), or the English equivalent is a mere transliteration of the Welsh name (e.g. Cardiff for Caerdydd), then further clarification is desirable. We’ve discussed this overnight, general consensus is that unless explicitly allowed in the rules of a particular quiz, then only English names are to be used please. I suggest using the name given in national rail enquiries here: http://www.nationalrail.co.ukThanks for your clarification. That's the recognised format on The Next Station is Quiz, so I presume we should follow this on other Quizzes.I suggest using the name given in national rail enquiries here: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk
This will, of course, give the official name.

Technically the name is "London Fenchurch Street". As there isn't a tube station (where the "London" prefix would be omitted), that isn't a valid move.Fenchurch Street
