Thought id give HR a call this morning to see if there have been any developments on the trainee driver roles at Sheffield

Unfortunately ive been told there is still no news and its as it was before

More waiting and patience required guys

Recieved this messege today for everyone waiting for Sheffield.

We've reviewed your interview paperwork and can see that as you were interviewed in May last year, your interview validity has now actually expired. Interviews remain valid for 9 months, after which time you come off our 'on hold' list and you would need to reapply for future vacancies. Unfortunately we can't always guarantee that a position is available during the 9 month timescale. Your driver assessment remains valid for 5 years.

I had my interview around the same time last year but havent received an email yet. From what you are saying though i think ill be expecting one.
I mentioned in another thread a change of tone in correspondance i had with northern rail recently and them using the phrase a change in business needs.
what they probably mean by this is they are going to recruit redundant freight drivers rather than trainees! ill expect the dear john anytime soon
