All stations tube challenge

Hello!

Are there any former tube challengers out there? I'm doing the all stations tube challenge in November with a colleague for charity. Whilst I'm well aware that a good tube challenger never reveals their route I wonder if anyone has any handy hints- like what to do about toilet stops, or food etc. The plan is to start at Amersham because I can park the car there, and finish at Heathrow because I stand half a chance of getting a cab back to Amersham- just don't fancy being marooned at Upminster at the end of service!!

One thing we are doing though is getting t-shirts printed- we don't want all the commuters thinking we're nutcases!!

Do you include the DLR?

No. Nor the Overground. Though we will be using a bit of the DLR (Canary Wharf-Stratford) purely for ease of interconnection, and also a C2C train service.

Possibly a stupid question... but why would commuters think you were nut cases if you didn't have special t shirts, and aren't they more likely to think you are nut cases if you do?

Aha!! If they see us poised by the doors, ready to make a sprint for a connection.... or running like madmen through the streets of Wimbledon or Harrow..or approaching people to get witness statements!!
