All line rail rover

Thinking of doing an all line rail rover. Would like to no about time restrictions. I no about Avanti & cross country. My question is can I use the rover before 09.00 with a senior rail card. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

2. Even if you were making a journey which matches the restrictions, how would anyone know? You just say you’re going to a destination beyond the restricted area or you started from outside the area.

It’s not an enforceable restriction.
Otherwise you can use the railcard at any time.

It's not an applicable restriction as the ticket is not for a journey wholly in the Network Railcard area.

Would the Birmingham New Street restriction preclude an early morning trip from say Manchester Piccadilly to Totnes which seems to necessitate a change at New Street ?

Yes, but you could change elsewhere if that's an option.

Seems a bit punitive, you get get down to Bournemouth legitimately as it’s a through train from Man Pic, but the Southwest requires either a much later start or a change somewhere further south adding to the arrival time

Yes passed near Stafford. When I googled it . It say an all line rover is not valid till 09.00
