All c2c-managed stations in one day

Is it possible to visit every c2c-managed station in one (week)day (using any operator/transport mode, but probably c2c ). Starting and ending at Fenchurch Street, running between, let's say 9am and 7pm?

c2c must be the smallest TOC in terms of area served? Maybe Merseyrail just beats that?

What do you mean by 'visit'? Get off and not get straight back on the same train? So wait for the next one? Sadly it's all 2 tph now so that's alot of waiting around. Though it's really only the centre bit between Upminster and Pitsea that only gets 2 tph, at the ends you have a mix of mainline and loop trains. I reckon it's doable. The Ockenden line will be a pain.

I absolutely guarantee I could do it with a motorbike. Probably before 2pm tbh.

Sounds like you did it by rail - what was the timetable frequency at that time?

It's absolutely trivial by "any transport mode" (I'd like to revise my earlier estimate to say I could very likely do it in 3 1/2 hours* if I just had to touch a part of the station building and no one was asking too many questions about my adherence to speed limits) but interested to see if you could actually do it now on a 30 minute timetable if that is genuinely the case.

But... is that the case? 30 minutes on C2C sounds nuts. Maybe for Purfleet but surely not for most routes?

*I have assumed all have reasonably easy motorcycle access for the purposes of a fleeting touch - may not be accurate

Assuming you don’t have to do it in a linear way e.g. going from station A, to B, to C etc., taking advantage of the frequency as best as you can, I’d double back a bit, if your only goal is to visit the stations, as opposed to spending half an hour at each one.

I did indeed do it by rail.

Fairly sure it was 4tph on the "main" route, certainly as far as Southend Central at least. I did get bowled out by a cancellation somewhere though, possibly Purfleet. Also I was good, mostly, and kept travelling in the same direction.

Just go through. It would really be a feet to get out at each one and wait for the next service!

The only reason I said any transport mode is just incase the frequency on a certain route is too low, and there's a nearby bus that would fit in better, for example. Or a different TOC.

It might be easier to do it on a Saturday due to more trains running.

Be aware that some stations require you to exit barriers to cross over to the opposite platform (and re-enter).

Gets used in the peaks when frequency is increased on that single line as trains cross there

From memory the hardest is the centre platform at Laindon as it's only used during the morning peaks. At least the centre platform at Leigh-on-Sea gets at least one terminator during the evening peaks.
