I am travelling from Dresden to Berlin in the Summer. Specifically Berlin Bornholmer Str or maybe Gesundbrunnen. So I plan to get off the EC at Berlin Südkreuz then get the S Bahn to Bornholmer, but I want to leave the option open of travelling onto Berlin Hbf and getting a different train round to Gesundbrunnen. I’ll get a Sparpreis ticket with a Berlin City-Ticket, but if I get my Sparpreis ticket to Berlin Hbf, can I still alight at Südkreuz and start my City-Ticket there?
Side questions:
Is the City-Ticket for a certain route or just any journeys required within 120 minutes?
Also, can FIP be used on Berlin S-Bahn single tickets? I could just get the sparpreis then save a couple quid through to Bornholmer Str.
