Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was killed using a poison developed from a dart frog toxin, the UK and European allies have said.

Another very esoteric poison chosen by Russia, only found in a particular frog in South America. Wonder why they (and by they, I mean Putin) chose it in this case if they never expected blood samples to reach the West?

Or see the denials as noise, and want to send a message about their willingness to kill (as if people didn’t know).

I'm wondering how these samples reached the west in the first place?
They say the samples were smuggled in.
I'm not saying it's untrue, as something must have triggered this statement.
Seems a bit iffy, you would have thought the Russkies would have destroyed any trace.

Possibly "by bag"? All anyone would have to do, having nicked a sample from the body under the Russian eyes would be to get it to someone in a western embassy, not that that's going to be easy in the first place!
