The swallow livery is back... in the skies! Not too sure why it's taking off from the taxi ways though...

Probably a stunt to motivate the need for the new runway.

Someone also let a Lufthansa plane into Terminal 5.

Meanwhile, the race to develop rail replacement services has taken another turn with the news that Transpennine Express are employing space shuttles. The livery seems quite difficult for Gemini to get right, especially with the curve of the shuttle, so please forgive the fact that the blue and purple are the wrong way round.

Jumping across from the 'what if the Bakerloo had taken over Crystal Palace high level?' discussion.

I'm not a number, I'm a ... oh, hang on, you want my credit card number. ;)
Worth every penny I'm sure. :)
Absolutely brilliant!
I'm trying to remember if railways featured in any episode. Before this image I tried to recreate the legendary Westminster Bridge scene where Patrick McGoohan and Angelo Muscat are running to catch not a bus, but a train. NanoBanana was having none of it however.

I'm reminded that there was a proposal in the 1960s to build a branch of the Ffestiniog Railway from some point just west of Minffordd across the fields and into Port Meirion. It came to nothing of course, probably from opposition by Clough Williams-Ellis (the genius behind Port Meirion).

Today is World Water Day and the family celebrates by having a day out on a preserved railway.

Is that another station where long-armed Dave senior removed the real name board? The heritage outfit have done their best with a generic "Station Name", but you cannot help feeling Dave senior needs to stop collecting.

In honour of World Water Day, an imaginary scene surrounding a water park. This also ponders what would have happened if Scotrail had got into the HST game earlier.

What a rush: sprint along the viaduct, avoid the oncoming train; fall down the hole in the viaduct's deck; slide down a lengthy shute; fly out the other end into an E-Coli bacteria-filled water-feature. What's not to love?
At least Scotrail cost-saved on frivolous rear power-cars.

I tried adding one having failed to notice. I wonder if they were aiming to build on the success of using DBSOs on the Edinburgh-Glasgow sets?

For this image I have recreated a fenland junction as may have been seen in my youth. Sadly only the rear of the two 158s got anything approaching the "Express" livery that the 158s wore as new. I guess Gemini will never learn that we did not used to have clearly differentiated doors on the sides of trains.

I am happy that Dave got a Super Soaker and that it has been able to generate text on the Game Boy screens that looks like games. Harriett has gone with a camouflaged version, which was probably as close to invisible as we got in 1993.

Could this photo be any more irritating?
Just for clarity, were you aiming for a 156 specially repainted into SPT livery?

Or was it that it implies the farmer left their cow unattended and the intention was to give the cow its own compartment?

Very definitely an AI train and station name board. But a first attempt at CCTV style footage on this thread.

That photo is nothing to do with me. Perish the thought.

Oh my days. It’s like listening to Vernon Kay with his Dad jokes
Is he still on the Radio? I get my dad jokes from Radio X.

You should try Gemini image generation though. These threads should prove that realistic generation is possible. New contributors are very much welcomed

Unforatunately, it is very addictive as @Ashley Hill will confirm.

As it has been announced that Scotrail is to take on the 222s, I thought that we might also have a bit of a livery refresh. When I asked for Scotrail Express livery, I really meant the 1980s version but I'm not actually too disappointed with the result (Co-pilot).

Gemini told me off because it wasn't authentic and then demanded money when I said I didn't care...

I can only guess that the photo was taken on a warm day, that cow is not Fresian. (works better when read)
A lovely whimsical image. Do those mythical beasts pay full adult fare or are they minor-taurs. (I'll get my coat...)

Don't be daft. They clearly tap in and out using their iPhone 18 Pro Max's.

(There is no pun there, just a recognition of cash cows)
