I never thought of Neville Hill workers in that way. ;)

Meanwhile, my Shampoo lyrics produced...
That feels harsh on the guy in the foreground if you were specifying shampoo. Shouldnt they all be swinging their hair like a Timotei advert?

For this one I just gave it a verse and the chorus and then asked to make it about a British station with a TfW 150/2

Brilliant. And then forego any vegetation control. Et voila: Welcome to the Jungle
Wouldnt that just be a real picture of Healey Mills (Other hump yards are available)

An Oasis amongst the madness. A return of The Chariot as well.

Now here's a thing: 1998 I took a role at a Marylebone-based office. A stone's throw from the station. An oft-visited pub around the back, a Wychwood Brewery hostelry by name of "The Hobgoblin".

One weekday, four of us popped in for just a cheeky couple*, at the bar, I grimaced at the beanie-attired squirt trying to get two pints. "What does he look like?" I thought no more as i waited for our fine landlord to serve me.

Back I go outside to our trestle table - and I see my three colleagues agog as Liam and Paul "Bonehead" sat next table, completely not rockstar like at all. We chatted and they were as down-to-earth as any. They'd found "our" pub - they liked it being away from the gawpers and paps. They had none of their "media-honed" swagger. Top blokes, actually.

* It never was just the two, though...

Brilliant story @Sun Chariot . Sometimes stars appear in the most small of spaces:

This is the best Nano Banana seems to be able to do for my interpretation of Brown Girl in the Ring.

I don't know whether Boney M ever played the Camden Roundhouse, but it would create a nice link.

I never managed to drink in any of the Hobgoblin pubs. We had one in Leicester, but I didn't go. It was not because I was an afraid lager boy. It was more because in 1998 I was a boy and drinking meant cans in the park.

After covering Digsy's Dinner and Cigarettes and Alcohol with the earlier image, I could not resist a Chris Moyles joke:

I do find myself asking why am I really here? Whoever painted those lines with give way but arrows for entrances clearly felt their god woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Class (of) 69. It does look more like a 47 admittedly, but anyway Nano Banana Pro's idea of a Class 69 pulling into Hair Central, just in time for the age of Aquarius.

(With apologies to Messers Armstrong, Dirnt and Wright/Cool)

I ride this train of hell,
On the Jubilee Line TfL,
What's that urine smell?
Am I the only one who rides alone?

I stand for hours it seems,
On the Underground of broken dreams;
Hear the addict's screams,
And I'm the only one who rides alone.

I ride to work, I ride alone.
I ride back home, I ride alone.

My Oyster card's the only thing beside me,
I use it for the discount it provides me,
Sometimes I get a place that I can't touch out.
'Til then I ride alone.

Tell me they've spared the tiara and cuffs!

Re: agricultural 08. I'm looking my old Lima 09, with a wicked glint in my eye... :D
At least these agricultural versions are more peaceful than the armoured ones of a few pages back.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, the train goes with the fish and leaves you alone. Now we know where we are going our kid...

We have all been there. You wait ages to capture an image of the newly painted GMPTE pacer near Holmes Chapel and before you know it you have been distracted by a lardy feckless get and your photo ends up as a picture of a Happy Eater.

You have to love The 'Horse

To be truthful, im am disappointed with this image but i`ve posted it anyway. Gemini could not produce anything like a class 50.
It is the thought that counts :)

With that image I am more concerned about the health of the male protagonist. Someone was consulting a book on a Wonder Wormerer. Im worried about the kids too, they do not seem to have messed up that cream rug.

"Au contraire, Marlene, au contraire". ;)
However, that T-Shirt.... Murders in the Rue Morgue? Murders in the shirt design studio, more like. :D

OT - "Killers" was - and still is - one of my all-time NWOBHM albums. Actually, that acronym probably needs to go on the "things in living memory" thread!

By way of a tease...

I crafted this one on the Dave Lee Travesty song "Why is it always Dairylea?"

Great disappointment tonight at Topological Towers after my attempts to get a cascade use for Voyagers backfired. I told it that I wanted a single track with the voyager at a short platform. Thinking I would conjure up images of the Greenford branch, or perhaps Battersby Junction, I ended up with this:

Gemini_Generated_Image_pa38l5pa38l5pa38.png

It is a sort of transfer between two lines, a la Ormskirk, but with a more rural setting. The voyager is probably reflecting on a time when it operated trains that were not front door only. I remember those times, but The Chariot renders them a blur.

Golly, I've seen so much, I'm going blind
(and I'm br-AI-n dead virtually).
That landscape beyond the Voyager offers a park life.

Excellent image....but I can't see a class 27 anywhere. What happened to the apocalyptic D5355....later known as 27 009?
It would've been there but it fell off the trap points at Polmadie en route... :D

The thing about The Chariot is that there is wisdom there, you are sure. But then your words start slurring and you cannot find the door.

I am enjoying all these song images. Probably should have waited until it was the monthly theme.
