Post 224 has a link to a thread with a "what if" livery for Great British Railways: a 66 in glorious Malachite Green.
That got me thinking: perhaps there will be themed liveries - so here's the first of their British Champion theme... ;)
So what happened on the 17th January? Which year?

Turning up in disco flares is a little more wholesome than the standard mens magazines in these photos.

I'm surprised nobody's tried an "alternate" Greatest Gathering AI image... ;)

Meanwhile, I'm back in my virtual hot air balloon and just in time to see a rare loco: a Brush / BRCW derivative of D0260 Lion, seemingly on a FootEx. My eyes are more drawn to the impending MOT failure silver car passing under the viaduct...

They seem to be quite bad at object permanace for the track behind the train, especially on viaducts.
The furthest away of the three tracks seems to duck down and come back up as the train starts/ends.

Indeed. Maybe @Sun Chariot could just ask it to show the image without the train so we could get a closer look at the track layout?

AI can never seem to do the same picture with a small edit, it will just create a completely new one in my experience.
I suppose it depends what tool you are using. The crude Conwy Castle one I did above was done using Copilot, and I added one element after another with the basic picture staying the same each time. e.g. 'add welsh flags', then 'change one of the flags to....', then 'I don't want the driver leaning out of the front window, move him to the side window', and so on.

Absolutely right.
@chrisjo With Google Gemini, the descriptive instructions generate a whole new data construct each and every time.
I've generated more than 100 of those aerial images: exact same input description, different output image every time.

Similarly, 100+ attempts at a 57 and Mk3 sleeping carriages at Paddington. I've yet to get a convincing AI result. This one however, I rather like the absence of yellow warning panel.

Is that a West Coast Railways charter train on the left? ;)

With this image I like the commuter IET. Hitachi could take over every service with that one. Would be ideal for the Marches where the Mk4 sets have too long dwells and the 197s just dont say Intercity enough.

I think the body just morphs into a 165/166 with hints of 387 once you get behind the cab.

If you follow thread What’s Your Latest Acquisition? you will know that a forum member's amassing an impressive roster of Lima 37s. So this one's for @xotGD 8-)
Image shows Greatest Gathering with a twist!

Can I just check...

Has this gathering of 37s caused Alstom to be kicked out? The sign says "Welcome Alstom", which is usually what you write for the visitors.

That then begs the question, what if Alstom were just a group of rail enthusiasts?

The AI sign is a parody of the real Welcome sign at Alstom's Litchurch Lane site gates. The location of a "little" railway gathering taking place this weekend :)

Here is a drawing of a double deck class 142 pacer:

Similar result to last time. Tried to make single car unit...

Here is an image of a single carriage class 142 pacer:

So I had another go and got this beauty

Here is a drawing of a single car double deck pacer train:

Breaking news: TOC adopts a new approach to mitigate fare evasion. Using Reasonable Force has been replaced by using The Force...

And clowns cause comedic concourse chaos. An adaptation to my descriptive instructions that generated post 177 image.

The 14th carriage appears to be half scrapped?

Not "mad" but I've created a homage to the 1980s Lackenby to Corby steel workings.

It is an interesting message in that Star Wars example.

The ticket office appears to be a fast food outlet. Is a split ticket when you buy multiple items from the saver menu instead of a large burger meal?

The folly of giivng my descriptive instruction to Gemini: "...the concourse's buildings include a ticket office, a fast food outlet and a newsagent."
Gemini decided that a mixed-use property is more profitable!
Egham - Sandwich? ;)
