Just bought myself a Portsmouth Harbour - Ryde Pier with the IOW Pride 20% discount. Had to put in departure times both out and return; the ticket is valid from mid-day. Can this ticket be used on ANY service or am I stuck with the times I chose? I've looked at the T/C's and it neither says I can't or can! Thanks!!

I did see this on the booking page... which would indicate you can travel on another service, subject to space available.

Afternoon Flyer
Booking fee: free.
Amendments: Free. Any increase in ticket costs must be paid at time of amendment.
Refunds: Yes, when cancelled at least 24 hours before outward departure.
Cancellation Fee: £5.
Check-In: No later than 15 minutes before departure. Full details at wightlink.co.uk/terms

Thanks, so if I wanted to travel on a different service I would have to re-book (on the app?), can't just show up with my original ticket?

I don't know about that, I would imagine you could rock up and they would change it at the office?

I never use the hovercraft and I don‘t fancy the bridge across the railway, nor am I going to walk away the way round.

Why not ask at the terminal when you reach Ryde?
I don't think the OP is referring to the hovercraft as they mention Wightlink and not Hovertravel.
