Few months ago, my idiotic self escalated an RR1 error that I received and was subsequently informed that my Trainline account had been restricted and being monitored due to suspicious refund activity and short ticketing. Please see below the last email I received from trainline regarding this issue:
The email we sent explains the reason behind the suspension of your online self-serve function.
If there's further booking and refund activity that raise concerns and uncertainty to us. Your account might be subjected to further restrictions.
As mentioned before, we share data with TOCs, they will be in touch with you directly if they want further information etc from you.
I have been out of the country for the past few months and have not used my Trainline account since February. I’m now starting a new job, which will require me to travel to London once a week.
Could someone please advice whether its safe to resume using my Trainline account, provided I purchase tickets at the correct fare? Or would it be advisable to avoid using this account entirely and instead use an alternative provider?
Many thanks for your guidance.
