Advice regarding rejected appeal

Just come back from London, with some time to wait til my connecting train, as I've already got a pass that gives me unlimited access, I thought I would investigate this a bit more, I have never used this lift before, sure enough it took you down a corridor that leads directly to the platform, I wasn't challenged, this route could be used to bypass the barriers going back up.

I'm very surprised this wasn't monitored or a ticket barrier installed.

Which are the reasons why there are (by all accounts) frequent revenue blocks on this lift.
