hi everyone, i new to the forum and look forward to helping and getting help and info.

I have reached the last part of the train driver selection process and have my 3 computer tests shortly which are WAFV vigilance test, ATAVT perception test, 2 hand coordination test and the situational questions and multi model interview.

Has anyone sat these new assesments above ? and if so how did you find them ? anything i should be doing to help my chances ?

I bought some software from how2become.com for assesments above but i feel they are not accurate as you have to use the keyboard instead of joysticks for the 2 hand co-ordination etc.

the one i am concerned about the most is the ATAVT perception test as a picture speaks 1000 words and you have 2 seconds to take in all the info on the picture

any help from anyone who has sat or knows about new assesments would be appreciated

Thanks

jimph1

Check out the 'Becoming a Train Driver' posting at the top of the page.
There is a lot of information in there about all the tests.
Good luck.
