I REALLY hate that Renault Clio advert with Blur on where its like "Perfect for the alps" then "Perfect everywhere".. I don't know why, but it really gets on my nerves. It's just so obvious that it's not perfect everywhere cos its a bloody clio! Should be "Does an OK job everywhere" .. <(

There was recently an annoying advert where a couple of kids would sit there twitching their face to music.

No idea what it was advertising, maybe an advert to try and stop people having kids? (Although TBH I dont need an advert to convince me of that....anyway)

There's another one possibly to do with the Army where they are all getting of the bus and being inspected and there's an annoying "Et er eee eee", noise being screeched by someone in the background.

The one I really hate is Injury Lawyers4u. That line "Lawyers: they find whose responsible and hold them to account." making lawyers sound so damn noble! when really we all know they are money grabbing bastards.

Where there's blame, there's a claim!

I absolutely loathe those adverts, mostly because I really hate this blame culture we've inherited from America.

I haven't watched a TV channel that has Ads in ages, but that one on the radio "We Buy Any Car.com" is pretty annoying.

They appear to have a TV advert which is similar:

Everyone that's been mentioned is on my list :P For the same reasons

Go compare! Go compare!...

That one just annoys me because you can tell they've just thought "oh, we have to make it catchy!" so they did exactly the same advert with a song, it's just so run of the mill

Love the Compare the Meerkat one though ^.^

YOU BUY ONE YOU GET ONE FREE!

I once told a SafeStyle phone rep that I would NEVER consider using them because of their cheap and nasty stupid 'shouty' adverts. His response was that the advert had actually served its purpose because I could remember it, correct I replied, but isn't marketing aimed at attracting customers rather repelling them......Muppet!

hate that stupid song!!!

Couldnt agree more, "we buy any cars, as long as its done up innit with massive rims and a bangin` subwoofer"

All these "Injury lawers for you" adverts

"well I was fixing a 10kv circuit box and my hands were wet because I didnt get the Handrier GEN when I fell off my home ladder and fell onto a chainsaw , I was off work for 30 weeks but thanks to Injury lawers 4 you, I got £10,000 and my boss has provided a proper ladder and removed all chainsaws"

The advert of "Bio-oil" is sounds like someone farting down a toilet roll tube and the video makes me think "whats going on here!", at first I assumed it was some 1970`s 80`s advert, really crap

Any environmentally based advert is a no go, all they do is play off a combination of people's stupidity to believe them and fear tactics.

On a different topic, it REALLY annoys me when someone mentions that they do something or sometimes don't do something to help the environment. The amount of people that smugly say "oh I don't want a bag, I'm saving the environment" at work who get quite cross when I ask if that is indeed their Range Rover parked outside.

I disagree, yes they may drive a range rover, but that still helps. If every person who had a 4x4 did every thing they could to save energy, then that'd make a difference.

Our impact is minute on the global scale of things, the media feeds us exasperated information to help generate a culture of fear. Notice how there's always one main subject the media uses to try fear monger, now its Climate Change and the Credit Crunch, before that it was the Threat of Terrorism, before that The Millennium Bug, etc etc. I mean the stories themselves are all fine and good but when they're just repeated over and over it just creates an uneeded state of fear. I'm sure if you could go back in time a year or two and only allow the news to broadcast reports of the Credit Crunch for one week then its effects would be far less than now, as people see this ongoing "crisis" on the news and become scared to spend, creating the hole we are in now.

<Back on topic> :P

I hate all adverts with a blood thirsty hatred, I think all advertisers should be hung drawn and quartered and there heads stuck on polls. TV adverts are 1st in my long list of hates. DIE TV ADVERTS. But the advert I hate the most is the cash my gold adverts I just want to punch that woman in her smug face and then push her down a long flight of stairs and then her repetidly kick her bloody corpse until its just a bloody smear.

(Sorry I had a Psychotic moment there at the mention of TV adverts)
