EDIT: as soon as I posted I saw the 'Modify' booking option on the website. CrossCountry let me just pay the difference with no admin fee. Whew!

I've purchased an advanced ticket for a friend for a journey soon, but they just realised their railcard is expired. I purchased on the CrossCountry website, travel on TPE. They can't renew the railcard.
Am I out of luck - does the ticket have to be forfeited? Not a huge deal as it was about £10 but I was curious anyway
