Advance Single- Heritage Railway connection running late

Currently at Severn Valley Railway gala. Train is running rather late. Had bought an advance for the 7:06pm to London Euston. Certainly missed at this point (still at Bewdley) any advice?

How were you planning on getting to Euston?

Via Kidderminster, Snow Hill and walk across to New Street

Unfortunately the 2021 from New Street is cancelled, leaving either the 2006 London Midland Slow to Euston or the 2036, arriving at 2240 and 2304 respectively. Unfortunately I know nothing about ticketing in this situation.

I'm afraid you haven't left enough connection time at Kidderminster between a SVR gala timetable and the national rail service for a valid claim, you will have to buy a new ticket.
