LOL Well of course I was just having a laugh with my Chav stats (sorry if the humour was lost on some people), but yes all studies are dependent on what data you put in.

Garbage in = Garbage out

You can prove most things frankly, and just have to be selective what you put in. That's why studies and think tanks are generally talking crap. In fact whole 'sciences' are complete crap, take Economics. 'We asked 100 city analysts about the price of copper, they all disagreed.'. There is a proportion of students are surplus to requirements and should be getting on with something useful.

There's nothing worse that too much management, law and technology for the sake of it. In fact I'd question the whole notion of GDP.

Sometimes when its said the economy is growing, remember you are just working to replace things that were 1/2 the price 20 years ago or there's even more pointless studies, laws and technologies and jobs coming on stream to make life even more complex, unmanageable, and probably worse in some cases.

Would it be cynical to suggest that studies are inconclusive when the studier is bored and needs something (i.e. another study) to occupy them for another several years ;)?

So what do we do to single parents? Force them to give up their children?

In my opinion, that's a whole different subject.

Again in my opinion, children should be brought up with a Mother and Father if possible. Obviously if they cant well that's that.

Well, to be technical, I have 4 mothers and 2 fathers if you include all steps and in laws (if all of them got married or C.P.s) work that out if you like ;)

I was brought up by many a different pepole, and I came out OK, lol

I'd rather have had a stable home life than living in a nuclear family, done both...

Example; what do we do with people like my sister who's now a single parent because her dickhead boyfriend didn't want to be in the relationship 3 months after Melody was born?
She's coping fine on her own as well before you ask.. the father is hardly jumping up to help whenever he and his mother have Melody for the weekend either.
