Yes and no respectively (yes, informed; no, not attacked)
There were two security breaches:
1) personal details and encrypted credit card info. Adobe informed me (on 4 Oct) about the breach and said "Customers whose credit or debit card information was involved will receive a notification letter", which I've not had, and there's not yet been any dodgy activity on my account. Also changed my Adobe ID password as recommended.
2) Source code to some of their products. This could reveal new methods of attack for malware writers. It's unclear yet if there has been any use made of the source code. It's also unclear which products are involved, but Adobe's blog at
http://blogs.adobe.com/asset/2013/10/illegal-access-to-adobe-source-code.html
says "Adobe Acrobat, ColdFusion, ColdFusion Builder and other Adobe products"

I had an email both personally and we had one to one of my work accounts.

I was a little skeptical at first, but all the links looked kosher* so I did the password reset as advised

* i.e. they were all pointing to the Adobe site, not a random URL
