As we're discussing 180s, 180011 came though Hertford earlier today from Bounds Green en route to Crofton in ex FGW livery with Hull Trains branding.

Just thought I mention it, :)

today I will mostly be at home decorating
largely because of the vast amount of knowledge that the oak has on these things...

So why couldnt they get them running right, and not bursting into flames, when they were with FGW. Now I appreciate the amount of time and effort put in by the staff at OOC but I bet they were glad to see the back of them, but now they are back I bet it has had a serious effect on morale.

They're only back for a bit of maintenance and exams! fGW aren't taking them back.

One fitter I know of at OOC was very sad to see the back of them, having tended to them for 5 years as part of the 'team' that were tasked with bringing their reliability in line with HSTs. They did a pretty good job at it, just a shame they're ****ty and French! Or should that just be French?

True. :D

They're a very high maintenance train and nobody could maintain them better than OOC. To be honest, they're not a bad train to work on.

Take 442s for example with 2412, does that mean it's actually 442412?
