Hi there, not sure if I'm going mad, but yesterday I was at Worcestershire Parkway and it had a train stopping after mine on Platform 2 going to Bristol TM. Thought that was odd as destinations are usually Cardiff via Gloucester on that platform only. However, on today's schedule, there seem to be hourly trains going north and south stopping at Parkway on the main cross country route - up to Edinburgh and down to Plymouth/Bristol.

I know this has happened before when the Cardiff to Nottingham route has been down for whatever reason (e.g. works) but as far as I'm aware, the Cardiff route is still running also. Despite a few cancellations.

Anyone know what's going on? If this is permanent I will be thrilled, but my understanding was that XC were not planning for this to happen?

Looking at XC's JourneyCheck, it would appear that these are Special Stop Orders due to the cancellation of many Cardiff services today - some 3 and 4 hour gaps.
