I was wondering wether acton bridge was worth visiting on a saturday or a week day ? Or are there any other stations worth a visit ? I want some freight and west coast photographs . Many thanks in advance .

Acton Bridge can be patchy, I find best time for freight is between 07:00 and 11:00 with quite a few light engine movements in between the booked freights. you often get "extras" that are not booked, if that happens you can have a good day. After 11:00 it usually goes quiet until around 14:00. Wednesday is probably the best day, not a lot on Saturdays. Mark from Freightmaster may give you better advice if he reads this.
