This year, the Association of Community Rail Partnership Awards are to be made during a dinner at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on September 27th.

I heard this evening, that guests are then invited on a visit to one such partnership - the Conwy Valley line - and it is planned to use the stock of "Gerald" - the Premier Service from Holyhead to Cardiff - complete with Cl.67 & DVT -for an excursion to Blaenau Ffestiniog on Saturday, 28th September.

Unfortunately, no timings have been published yet on Real Time Trains. But, if true, it explains why the stock was used on a gauging run up the valley last Sunday.
