And if we type in "Ireland" into Google maps, it takes us to an equally wet place, nowhere near any inhabitation, right in the River Suck on the Roscommon / Galway border. (Yes, that's its real name - it feeds into the Shannon. You couldn't have invented a worse name for silly kids jokes, could you?)

Interesting, well I type in Australia and I don't get a marker, so I type in Victoria, and it puts a marker on someone property in North East of the state near Shepparton.

Interested and curious about the other states, I do them all:

New South Wales and it puts a marker on someones property near the town of Olinda, west of Newcastle.

Queensland and it puts a marker near some creek north west of Charters Towers.

Northern Territory and the marker is to the west of the Stuart HWY north of Tennant Creek.

Western Australia they put the marker south of Lake Wildneress, south east of Newman in the Pilbra region.

South Australia the marker is located in a remote part of S.A, east of Ceduna.

Tasmania, they put the marker in the Cradle Mountain National Park, west of Rowallan.

And in the A.C.T, they put the marker right on top of Parliament house in Canberra.

Verdict. All very weird.
