Accommodation in Bristol

Good morning,

I wonder if anyone knows, and has perhaps stayed at, a decent B&B in Bristol, not too far from Temple Meads Station, I know there are a few hotels nearby but for the dates I need they seem very expensive, it is for a Saturday & Sunday night in Mid June. I am hoping to go on a special charter that leaves Temple Meads at 0800 on the Sunday morning and gets back around 2100.

The dates are probably expensive due to people wanting to do the similar trip you are wanting to do and had the same idea.

Make sure theres no festivals on your dates too but also check the premier inns by the quayside

It seems pretty random to me! I have been able to get great deals sometimes and then other times, even similar dates / days of the week, it is expensive! I've stayed in the Holiday Inn Express right opposite Temple Meads and the Travelodge that is only around the corner from there a few times and have managed to get a room each time for less than £40 a night. Yet other times when I have looked both have been asking for double that.

Yes in the past I have had some very good hotel rates down there. I will keep looking. Thanks.

Hostelworld.com is the website I turn to if there aren't any cheap hotels. As an example, 007 Bristol Hostel wants £12 a night for a 2 night stay starting 17/6.
