Access to platform 5 London Bridge

I'm travelling tomorrow with a very heavy suitcase and found that they're saying the lifts to platforms 4/5 are out of order and the escalators to platform 5 are out of order. Does this mean the escalators to platform 4 are ok (as they didn't put 4/5)? And if they are all out of order how is someone supposed to get up there? Does anyone have any knowledge of what's actually happening in the station? I've tried calling helplines but they had nothing else to add. Thank you!

On Tuesday the up escalators were both working. One of the down escalators was out of order, didn't notice if the other one was OK. I would hope they would prioritise the up (hill) direction if more were out of order.

I presume you are heading for a Thameslink destination? Would changing at Sevenoaks/Orpington and Blackfriars be an easier option anyway - just a thought.
