Access co-ordinator Network Rail

Have applied for an internal post as detailed above,and have had a fair bit of info from one of the project engineers in this side of things but was wondering if there was anyone around the forums had any experience of these posts.
Currently on an s&t faulting team but looking for some time away from the shifts,and a wee change.

What is the actual job description for the role access co-ordinator?

Is it to do with track access for TOC/FOC's or access on to railway property or something completely different?

I was Access Co-ordination Manager for London Underground.

Not sure if the roles are the same but mine was co-ordinating engineering works and ensuring access was prioritised to the requirements of the business. There was a lot of liaising between external contractors and internal managers to try and get shared access, and there was also a lot of closure and possession planning involved. It pays around the £45 - £50k mark but is pretty straight forward once you get into it, you needed to be the sort of person who doesn't take any s*** though and to not take it personal when people get upset cos you have cancelled their work (again).

Its tied in with possessions and engineering works ROTR etc etc

That's it in a nutshell,without manager in the title,and nowhere near 45-50k.
