Good day all,

My name is Stephanie and I'm a PhD researcher based in Glasgow. My research is focused on accessible rail travel for people with mobility impairments. The project is sponsored by Motability Foundation and has full ethical approval from Coventry University's Ethics Committee. I myself have lived experience of a mobility impairment.

Throughout recent months I have been interviewing rail staff and am looking for just a few more to interview in this month - specifically customer-facing staff if possible. I've been fortunate to speak with quite a lot of managerial/senior staff that are not customer-facing. The current study is focused on rail staff perspectives on supporting passengers with mobility impairments, and follows on from a previous study with passengers and travel companions. All contributions are treated confidentially and will be written up anonymously in a research paper, in line with data protection guidelines.

Hello! I'm currently doing research into accessibility on public transport, particularly looking at ramps on buses for my final year university project.

If anyone has had any experience using a bus ramp, either yourself or to assist someone else, I've created a survey to find out more about people's experiences.

The survey mainly focuses on bus ramps, but there is a small section on other types, so if you haven't used a bus ramp, any responses for this section are also appreciated!

All the data is anonymous - there is more detail in the information sheet/consent form provided in the survey.
