Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd give a quick update. I phoned arriva this morning. Although they took my complaint the woman on the other end of the line couldn't sound more disinterested if she tried, and I have already been told that the bus in question is NOT fitted with CCTV, so it's basically down to a drivers word vs member of public word...... Can see where this will end up going then.

I contacted the local paper (the bucks herald) to see if they would report it as a general interest story, but they are more concerned about liable, so it was a thanks, but no thanks moment.

So I think it's another case of little guy crushed by big corporate bull s**t, but it won't stop me taking photos, I think in future I will just put my headphones on and enjoy blissful igronance!!.

Well not too surprised at the response from Arriva on this subject.
At least First and Stagecoach etc will actually listen to teh customers complaint and investigate

Thankfully out of all the first photos I have taken I've had no problems!. Just seems arriva have problems all through their company. However, speaking to one of their drivers in Leicester today about what happened he was genuinely disgusted by what a supposed fellow colleague had done and offered me a trip around thurmastone garage as a small compensation... Sadly I didn't have enough time for that, but the gesture was kind enough!

Just a thought but did you get a picture of the driver making the gesture? If so you could send that to Arriva.

Sadly there was no picture of this. Ironically the picture I did take of him on the approach (the one which mad him so mad) turned out a little blurred!
