Absolute block sim

Hi all,

Does anybody know of a good absolute block simulator out there that includes the use of bell codes and levers? I cant seem to find any barring one I found based on yapton crossing although they want like £30 for it!!!!

PC Rail do some 'Heritage' programs with block instruments etc. http://www.pcrail.co.uk/index.php?pts=home

The same company you got Yapton from also do one for 'Exeter West', now preserved at the Crewe Heritage Centre.

These simulations are very good and take a lot of effort to produce, hence the price of between £20-30+.

i can vouch for that to pcrail are really good i have the district line earls court sim

only downside is you cant forward the time at the start ie if you want to start the game at say 1300 you cant it starts from the start of the day and you need to just play it minute by minute only down side other than that really good

if you want a free signal sim the there is always simsig again really good fun

Yeah I've been playing simsig and really enjoying it, just wanted some old school absolute block as there's alot of those around me. Thanks ill have a look at those, I suppose your right it is worth the money, just being a bit of a skinflint

I used to have some from SIAM that were enjoyable to "play". Eventually, as Microsoft introduced newer versions of Windows, and I got faster CPUs to cope with these, the SIAM games ceased to work properly.

I had Aller Junction (Western Region at the foot of Dainton Bank) and Chesterton Junction (Eastern Region , north of Cambridge)
