Anyone know if it's possible to buy the "Above Ground" poster which is displayed in many Piccadilly line trains?

Sadly not, although I believe there are a limited number of the similar poster produced for the Victoria line, and the (second!) updated Piccadilly line floating around in a few places, including the LTM Shop. I have a feeling it's in person only, though, and not online...

While it's probably technically a copyright breach, perhaps just photograph one and have it printed/print it out? That's how I got a Conwy Valley Class 101 promotional poster (though I just printed it myself as I wanted A4 size to frame).

There will be a lot of them available in about 5 years, and you get a nice big pile of scrap metal to go with it!

I think I've seen them on sale at the London Transport Museum Depot Open Days on the Friends stall. Not sure how recently though. These would be posters that were made to be put up on trains or at stations rather than reproductions.

If you can make it to the next one in April it may be worth a try. I might actually be able to go myself - I usually volunteer but the last few have coincided with parental duties driving the offspring to Uni. If I can go, I'll have a look out.

Thanks for all the links.

I see the next depot open days are on 23rd and 24th April. Tempting ...

I've seen this poster displayed in the Model Railway Hall at Railworld Peterborough, though I wouldn't know if this is the one that any of you have come across.

I definitely saw a couple of posters in the LTM shop fairly recently which were at least very similar. Maybe worth giving them a ring if it's possible to get through to that bit of the museum?

I can definitely recommend the Depot open days if you've never been before - very different to the main museum and a vast amount of "stuff" to wander around and look at.
