For ICE-L, I wondered if it is true that they will be deployed to services to Brussels/Paris as I felt like Wiki is tricking me, and if it is possible to equip them with 3kV/25kV to allow homologation to Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary as well as Denmark, Sweden.
For IC2, is it possible to order more Stadler KISS or Alstom TWINDEXX fleets as Deutsche Bahn spoke of 120 new double-decker Intercity trains to be procured by 2030. The trains should have on-board technology for telephone and internet use.
Im März 2015 sprach die Deutsche Bahn von 120 neuen Doppelstock-Intercity-Zügen, die bis 2030 beschafft werden sollen. Die Züge sollen über Bordtechnik für Telefon- und Internetnutzung verfügen.[62]
For ICE-3 Neo, just ask if the new order of 43 is still quadruple voltage version? or will it seek approval for Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, Italy or Poland?

German media speaks of the Amsterdam service, Austria and internal services. I dont expect a change in the ICE/TGV concept for France. ICE-L would be too slow for French HSL and just one power car could make them also unsuitable.

ICE-L (the Talgo sets) will be used in Germany and the Netherlands. Their primary services will be Berlin - Amsterdam as well as the various trains to/from Sylt, the latter will need to be dragged by a diesel loco north of Hamburg/Itzehoe.

ICE-3neo as I understand will be approved for the same countries as the current ICE3 Velaro D units - Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Austria.

Talgo sets are planned to operate the Germany - Denmark long distance routes, but these will be DSB owned and operated sets rather than DB Fernverkehr’s ICE-L.

There are no new trains planned as far as I know from across border routes into Czechia and Poland.

I don’t think ICE-L are planned to run to Austria.

From what I know, the current DB LHCS on the line to Villach (Tauern railway) will at some point switch to ICE4 (presumably the short sets). At the moment, they can’t run there because of platform height at some Austrian stations, but these will be rebuilt before the Koralmbahn opens. ICE4 might even run on the Koralmbahn on through services to Graz.

The current route to Graz, where DB LHCS also is used, will cease when the Koralmbahn opens according to current plans.

On the Vienna - Nürnberg (Frankfurt/Hamburg/Berlin) Route, ICE-T sets will probably continue as long as possible, since Tilt is required between Passau and Nürnberg.

ICE3neo will replace the current ICE-3M on the Amsterdam - Frankfurt (- Basel) route, mostly due to the repeating problems with the multi-Voltage installation on the ICE-3M.
Apparently the 3M will continue to be used within Germany as they function as long as they don't have to changes voltage.
