Aberystwyth question

Hi all,

hope this is the right place to ask this.

The timetable for Aberystwyth station seems very logical; based on my calculations, four train sets are needed for the service. However, there is an odd arrival from Machynlleth (Mon-Fri) at 8.44am. What happens to this train as it seems not to have a return journey?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, it just occurred to me

This train then joins the train that arrives from Birmingham New Street at 0925, and forms a 4-car service on the 0930 to Birmingham International (which becomes 6-car after it joins a portion from Pwllheli at Machynlleth!).

The diagrams for the units on the Cambrian Line are fairly complex; they also interwork with the Birmingham International - Holyhead services, and see splits at Shrewsbury & Machynlleth throughout the day!
