Does anyone know when the Cement facility was built at Aberdeen Craiginches?

I don't know the exact answer to your question, it's been there all of my life, but the above shows that it was very much there and established in 1975.

Given that its traffic was established from Oxwellmains, this link might provide a clue:

It seems there was substantial expansion at Oxwellmains in 1966. It looks like it might of that vintage - so that's my guess if there's some further means of verifying it?

Thank you for the reply.

I too had come to the same conclusion, but wondered if anyone knew for definite. I have plenty images of Craiginches yard in '63 and '64 not showing the elevator building, but can only find images from the 70's with it there. My model railway layout is set in 1964, and in a different location, so I think if I depict the cement terminal as being brand new, it might be plausible.
