Aberdeen - Cosford

Hi

I am currently looking for advance single from aberdeen - cosford then returing back. will be traveling in the 1st week of november dates and times are felixable. have no railcards. Would be looking at heading out on a wednesday and return on a wednesday as well.

have looked on the east coast website but theres not many advance tickets the ones they have got are either very early or very late, also some say the journey includes buses as well!!

Cosford station is closed for refurbishment from the end of October, and will not reopen until March 2012! The bus journey is only 7 minutes from Albrighton, the nearest stop. Albrighton station is only 2 miles from Cosford station, you may prefer just to buy a ticket to there.

If you route via Newcastle you can find a few more advance fares, at £37, though these take around half an hour longer.

You might find other advance tickets if you split your journey along the route. Try places where you would be changing trains (Glasgow/Edinburgh/Wolverhampton). You can use multiple advance tickets for one journey, as long as you leave at least the minimum connection time at stations where you would be changing.
