Abellio Scotrail Station Assistant

Hi, just asking for a friend who's not currently on this forum. He's been invited to an online assessment for a station assistant job with Abellio Scotrail.

Apparently there are two areas, one is 'Abellio customer service talent screener' and the other is 'calculation assessment' which requires a calculator, mouse, pen and paper. I'm assuming the first section is situational judgement type questions but if anyone can shed further light on the tests then I'd be grateful for any input.

I’ve just done SJT and calculation assessment .
When you click on link for calculation one you get chance to do practice questions gives you good idea of what it will be like. Would recommend trying practice one few times

I did this a couple of years ago and the maths test is trickier than I expected... some are simple whilst others require a knowledge of BODMAS and give you very little time to work out...

Trying the practice one a few times is good advice as per above
