Abellio Buses

Now that Abellio are running the ScotRail franchise, have Abellio sent any bus reinforcements from anywhere to cover the section that's closed during the Winchburgh Tunnel works, or are they just getting local firms to to the rail replacement?

Yes, Abellio London vehicles have been seen doing rail reps during the Winchburgh blockage, but it's not clear who's O-licence or operating centre they are running from.

Allegedly Stagecoach & First were unable to commit to providing vehicles for the full length of the blockade due to other (Golf) commitments.

I was in Linlithgow on Thursday and noted the following :-

Abellio 8027, 8028, 8031, 8035, 8053, 8525, 8526

Stagecoach 22372, 22577, 53285

Natex Dundee 2030 - 2035 inclusive

plus about 15 independent operators.

Good to see that Abellio are utilising their own buses albeit coming from the other end of the country.

Would be interesting to know what O-Licence they're running of though...

Stagecoach are involved, with a number of reserve fleet buses put back into use to cover their share of the work.

I've heard that the Abellio London E200's are on loan to Glasgow Citybus, so they are probably running on their O-Licence...
