Hello
on my frequent journeys south from Edinburgh i notice alot of work being carried out here where the Branch was once in place.
Recently i notice now that all vegetation has been cleared away and what looks like a trackbed complete with ballast that has been laid.
I have heard talk that Leith Central may be opening again, and wonder if this rumour is true and this is why the work has been ongoing on the Abbeyhill branch.
I recall a similar topic posted on this matter some months ago, but cannot recall whether the question was answered. Does anyone know whats going on!?
