The reply I had back from LM was

'Thank you for your e-mail regarding your journeys between St Albans Abbey
and Watford Junction. I can confirm that the First Class accommodation is
for those with First Class tickets only.

The toilets on the train between St Albans Abbey and Watford Junction are
not closed due to cleaning but the extensive vandalism that has been
experienced on this route.'

Rock Stilton all round then, so -

(a. You have a first class ticket and we provide a train without any first class accomodation then that's tough

(b. You travel standard in a first we will charge you full first fare ......?

As there are no first singles for travel between stations along the line How Wood you do that ?
