AA attend incident at Downing Street

I got a call to say a car had had an argument with a rising bollard – turned out it was a Foreign Office car and the address was 10 Downing Street!

I was kind of hoping David might pop out to offer me a cuppa while the AA van was parked outside number 10. Never mind, but it was nice that the PM knew he could count on us!

The Foreign Office should really be more careful with it's cars or they'll be no money to spend on weapons.

Rising bollards have claimed quite a number of car victims on the line of the Manchester Metrolink system in central Manchester, near to the big Marks and Spencer store.

My Dad was an AA man in the days before rising bollards, but has also attended to a breakdown in Downing Street, as well as Buckingham Palace!
