Why will the scene with 43123 be gone forever very soon?

Its one of two remaining HST power cars with the Valenta engine, soon to be removed for an MTU which does not produce clag in such volumes (if at all).

It will be gone (in proper service) forever. I am aware the 125 group has a number of power units in store. But preservation is never the same.......and a preserved example wont exactly crop up tomorrow!
