A very recent problem when using Microsoft Edge has happened.

Occasionally, when making a posting using my HP Pavilion desktop computer, what appears on the screen is what I can only describe as a precursor image, but the pressing of the F5 key shows the normal image. Can anyone offer me advice on what has occurred?

First I would check your internet connection speed, secondarily try clearing out the cache and cookies, that often solves issues like this.

This happens to me too, though intermittently. Today it has been fine.

My suspicion is that it is a bug in an update of Edge.

That's strange. Mine had a bad day yesterday but is fine this morning.

i wonder if notifications to them from users about bugs in a recent update have made Microsoft move quickly to investigate matters and to take the required actions.

Have you tried an alternative browser, e.g. Firefox ?
Personally I prefer it; when I tried Edge, it seemed more interested in doing what Microsoft wanted rather than what I wanted.
