A treat at Didcot today

Was out today playing footie with the lads when a Direct Rail Services class 37 came thundering past (and when I say thundering, I mean the roar was deafening). Not often anything in Didcot can be described as a treat, but I've never seen one before... Anyone know why it came past here or where it was headed? It flew past the Didcot bypass in the direction of Reading if it helps anyone.

Popped to Sainsburys in Didcot today and saw my first Class 70 with a long intermodal - I must say I was pretty impressed with the noise it made compared to the usual 66s!

I saw these two parked up in the siding just south of the railway bridge at Oxford earlier. No idea where they were heading though.

I saw it at Banbury on Tuesday, although it was two 37's Topping an Tailing a single NR carrige
I got off the Bournemouth to Manchester XC service at 13:54 and as I was walking to my car when I heard it coming.
