A routing question?

Today I had a day trip from Glasgow Queen St to Inverness. The outward journey to Stirling was via Lenzie and Bishopbriggs. The evening return from Stirling ( 1449 ex Inverness ) was via Cumbernauld, Gartosh (spp?) and Springburn.

Two quick questions:

is this the normal diagram?

as it was getting dark what was is the route from Stirling from Stirling to Cumbernauld??

Yes, on Mondays to Fridays.
