A plea

I have been trying to get hold of the Hornby model of 08528 in BR "banger" blue with a silver cab roof (catalogue number R2590), but cannot find anywhere locally that still stocks it.

If anyone knows of a model shop where this is still stocked, please can you let me know.

None on eBay and am resisting paying the Hamley's premium. What I'm hoping is that there is one gathering dust on a model shop's shelf somewhere at a much more reasonable price. However, if none are forthcoming I may have to stump up.

I don't know the gentleman concerned, but I would guess these are not hobbies, more like a way of life...

Used to be quite a good model shop upstairs in the Harvey centre at Harlow dont know if its still there as its been a few years since I was last there.Will check in model zone at Holborn when I pass and check when I pass later
