Hi.
The first in service working of TPEs 350/4s is Dec 30th with the unit working an early Airport>Edinburgh Diagram, followed by the 10:08 Edinburgh>Airport, the 14:00 airport>Edinburgh and the 18:12 Edinburgh>Manchester (see the 350/4 construction progress thread for full details and discussion).
I'm planning to make a day of this and bash the 10:08 south as far as CAR, treat myself to a bit of lunch and pick the same unit up again northbound at 16:11. If anyone fancies a pint, a spot, a phot and even a ride north or south, PM me, I and quite probably the Mrs will be in the Griffin pub, Court Square near the station from round 15:00 and will then head for the train. If anybody fancies a pre Hogmanay drink or wants to sample the new set in these places at these times PM Me!
