I decided to try a really obscure Pokémon, namely Litwick, and he still got it! It did help that Question 12 was "Is it a Pokémon?", but even then there are 649 answers. His first guess was Ditto (a purple blob for those that don't know)...

I'm going to try a Glitch Pokémon now, and see if he can get that!

...Damn. He did.

It managed to get Scott Tracey from Thunderbirds on its third guess (Guessed me first time, don't know how it managed that one. Second go it guessed Virgil which was increadibly close)

How the Hell did it get a person mixed up with a Tracy brother? Now, in my case, he might have an excuse given I share my first name with the TB1 pilot, but still...!

Managed to break it with Mike the barman from Only Fools, but the name was actually in it's database.

Must use cookies and things

Nope - it's the wonderful thing of Artificial Intelligence. It is learning all the time and working by process of elimination (though asking if someone is good looking or ugly could be, in some cases, open for debate :P

I have got the Android app for this and am always on it and trying to get work colleagues caught out with it. It has only got one or two wrong.

I don't deny it learns. But the reason I think it uses cookies is that it asked me "do you personally know the person" after asking if the person was a footballer etc. How would knowing if I knew the person help unles it could access cookies (to get facebook ID, use that to view friends) and such (I went to school with ; Tom Taiwo,Niall Canavan, Aiden White and Mathew Lewis - not a footballer).

Hmmm...maybe I'm skeptical but I'm not so sure it will do.

And as for knowing who you are (not something you said sprite, I know, but someone did), you put in your gender and age at the start :P

I've just tried it with Wing Commander G.P. Gibson V.C., DSO, DFC, and it took him 17 questions by 15 he was in the right ball park, but he was thinking of Douglas Bader as soon as I said no to ' Has your person lost any limbs' he walked it.

nad he just got Admiral Nelson after 15 questions, im off to try someone more obscure see if i can catch him out.

He's too good for me he got Jimmy 'the Rev' sullivan.

ha ha beat him!!!!!! he did'nt get Lt. (jg) 'Bud' Roberts from JAG.

and im going to stop playing this for a bit mow our lass is looking at me funny.
